The Unleashed 1998 UK Tour.

Dannii said about the Unleashed, her first tour, "I can't wait to get on the stage with my band. I love to see the crowd let loose! With energy in the music, we'll push it to get the audience dancing - then get real personal with acoustic versions of some favourites."

Dannii's Unleashed tour was a superb show, full of songs across all three of Dannii's superb albums. Hits such as 'Love & Kisses' and 'Jump To The Beat' off Dannii's first album feature, through to 'Coconut', 'Disremembrance' and 'All I Wanna Do' off Dannii's latest album, GIRL. The highlight of the show has to be the superb Disco mix, featuring many Disco great songs, which has to be seen and heard to believe.

Concert Review

Dannii looked stunning on stage in a red top which was tied at the front. The curtain goes up and we see the band and the backing singers Mitch & Terry (Who are dressed as Monks!!) The opening bars of ‘Disremembrance’ start to play but where’s Dannii? What’s that Nun like Figurine at the side of the stage armed with a wooden crucifix? It’s ‘Sister Dannii’ After singing the current release and ‘blessing’ everyone in the audience ‘Sister Dannii’ leaves the stage for a quick change. She reappeared in a skirt and a white shirt over a green top to belt out the classic and much loved 1991 single ‘Baby Love’ and last years ‘Everything I wanted’ which came complete with some very sexy movements indeed.

Now for a change - Dannii has been trying her hand at some acoustic versions of her songs - in fact previously the week before at Northampton fans got a full acoustic version of ‘Everything I wanted’ tonight it was to be ‘Heaven can wait’, She did this song last time at the Astoria (in October) but didn’t perform the whole song - this time she did - and it showed her voice to be very strong (it’s great not to hear it being drowned out by instruments). Then it was back on to full on syths for ‘This is it’ (this is a revamped version by Ian Masterson and is very Trouser Enthusiast’s).

Next up is ‘Coconut’ which looks set to be the next single release - Dannii obviously loves to perform this track live and she really gets into it and it appears to be well loved by the audience. Acoustic time again - This time for ‘So in love with yourself’ this is a new arrangement Dannii’s been working on complete with an ‘Ooh La La’ ending! - it’s very Latino/flamenco sounding. Lastly Dannii takes to the stage for the full version of ‘All I wanna do’ which ends the show in true style. A truly great show and an amazing performance.
